Last fall I went on a Jimmy Choo handbags shopping spree – they were all replica bags of course, but, I got obsessed with the Jimmy Choo style. Especially the laid back-but-luxurious mastered they mastered with their Hobo bags. Anyway, this is a whole new year and I just may be about to embark upon another Jimmy Choo shopping spree – only this time I’m going for replica shoes.

My first purchase will be these hot hot hot Jimmy Choo wedges. These guys have a similar appeal to those replica bags I was so into last year. They are the perfect example of casual and sophisticated being superimposed on to each other AND it working! I’m super impressed with JC because lots of people try to bridge this great divide but so few actually succeed.

Check out the woven base of these awesome wedges – it calls to mind the beach, summer vacations, patio parties, and all the great casual hangs of summer. But, these shoes don’t stop there. On top we find sexy, glossy, black patent leather and the contrast is awesome. As pumps, these shoes would be relegated to evening wear, but these wedges with their super-casual woven base can go just about anywhere.

This is just the sort of fusion that I absolutely adore and that Jimmy Choo has totally mastered. I’ve already ordered this pair and I’m setting my sights on some more JC kicks. There are a few Jimmy Choo handbags waiting in my closet that will be happy to see their brand name friends.
